Surgery is a brain stem transplantation with preservation of the original peristalsis, which is very important because most patients are women of reproductive age. Day-to-day abdominal separation prevents the development of degenerate-dystrophic changes in their conjugation, taking into account changes in the relationship and optimization of biomechanics.

Atpresence of hipdysplasia (CroweIorHartofilakidisAtype) and absence of heavy degenerative changes, pelvic osteotomies become more and more often the treatment method for young active patients. Pelvicosteotomiesareintendedfornormal anatomy and biomechanics restoration: the contact surface of the head of femurincrease, the contact tensiondecrease, the bearing forcesweightnormalization, and, as the consequence, the prevention of degenerative changes in the joint.

In Russia, this method of dysplasia patients’ treatment appeared relatively not long ago, although it has worldwide acknowledgement among orthopaedists. Afamousontheworldlevelsurgeon, ProfessorReinholdGanzconsiders: “…except for total hip joint endoprosthesis replacement, periacetabular osteotomy is probably one of the most successful surgeries in orthopaedics”. The experience accumulated by the surgeons of our department allows successful treatment of hip dysplasia patients using this organ-preservative method and achievement of excellent results.

Video after the surgery. An excellent result!!!
