Scientific and Practical Conference “Arthroscopic and Organ-Preservative Hip Joint Surgery”

The Scientific and Practical Conference “Arthroscopic and Organ-Preservative Hip Joint Surgery” organized by the personnel of Adult Orthopedic Department took place at the Hotel Complex “OKA” in Nizhniy Novgorod on April 27, 2018.

Acute questions of minimally invasive surgery, possibility of preservation and normal functioning of own joints, ways of endoprosthetic replacement postponing were discussed at the conference.

Specialists in arthroscopy and organ-preservative surgery from all over Russia arrived to the event to share experience. A famous trauma orthopaedist, Professor Stefan Fickert from Germany presented a few reports. International experience exchange in such a new for the Russian orthopaedics sphere as arthroscopic hip joint surgery undoubtedly contributed to the doctors’ level of knowledge increase.It will have a positive influence on the results of surgical treatment of femoroacetabular impingement, avascular necrosis of the head of femur and hip dysplasiapatients.
