Vreden’s Readings 2019

The annual Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation «Vreden’s Readings» took place in Saint Petersburg on September 26-28, 2019. 

The organizer of this event was RSRI of TO n.a. R. R. Vreden (St. Petersburg). Traumatologists-orthopedists of Russia near and far abroad shared their experience. This scientific event brought together more than 1000 participants. The conference also included master classes and satellite events of the largest orthopedic companies.

The conference was devoted to the discussion of both the state of endoprosthetics in Russia as a whole, and the treatment of diseases of the hip, knee, shoulder, ankle joints, in addition, as well as bone oncology.

The delegation of the University clinic of PRMU, including the staff of the orthopedic department of adults took part in the conference. A. A. Korytkin presented their papers in several sections. His speeches were devoted to the issues of revision arthroplasty and organ-preserving surgery of the hip joint. In addition, A. Korytkin acted as a moderator of 2 sessions. Doctors of orthopedic department of adults A. A. Zykin and S. A. Gerasimov presented their reports at the conference. A. Zykin spoke on the topic «Individual implants 2019» in the session devoted to organ-preserving solutions in patients with gonarthrosis. S. Gerasimov presented a report on the current topic «Hip Arthroscopy in children».
