The Scientific and Practical Conference of Trauma Orthopaedists with International Participation “Urging Issues of Big JointsEndoprosthesis Replacement” took place in Cheboksary Federal Center of Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Endoprosthesis Replacement on June 29, 2018.

About 150 doctors – trauma orthopaedists from more than 20 regions of the Russian Federation became the participants of the event. Leading Russian scientists and famous foreign specialists from the USA, Germany, Austria, Italy, Slovakia, and Lithuania were among the reporters.

The discussion focused on the most acute problems in the field of traumatology and orthopedics, including the complex primary replacement of a large prosthesis and endoprosthetics, problems of revision of the endoprosthesis (periprosthetic infection, problems of artificial instability of the joints, etc.), recent advances in high-tech methods diagnosis and treatment.
