Korytkin Andrei Aleksandrovich
Head of Department, orthopaedic surgeon, PhD in Medical Sciences. In 2004, started working at Nizhny Novgorod University clinic of Traumatology and Orthopedics as orthopaedic surgeon for Orthopaedic Department. In 2013 got PhD in medical sciences (Thesis “Treatment and prevention of early purulonecrotic complications after the hip joint endoprosthesis replacement”). Since 2014 works as a Head of Orthopaedic Department at Privolzhsky Nizhny Novgorod University clinic of Traumatology and Orthopedics .
The area of specialization is reconstructive surgery, primary and revision hip and knee replacement. Dr. Korytkin studied and trained at leading clinics in the USA, Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, England, Russia. He is the author of more than 10 patents for inventions, more than 35 scientific publications. He is the permanent participant of forums and congresses on traumatology and orthopaedics. He is the member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), member of the American Association of Surgery of the Hip and Knee Joints (AAHKS), full member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT), a member of the Russian Hip Society. The number of surgeries performed on the primary total hip and knee joint endoprosthesis replacement is 500 per year, the number of revision hip joint endoprosthesis replacement performed is 180-200 per year.
